Creating a CNAME Record

  Getting Started

A CNAME record must be created with your DNS provider that points your domain to global.nuevocloud.net. For more information on CNAME records, see your DNS provider's documentation or Wikipedia's CNAME record article.

Example Record

Record Type Label/Host Field Time To Live (TTL) Destination/Target Field
CNAME subdomain.example.com 86400 global.nuevocloud.net.

Creating a CNAME Record

The apex of a domain is the domain without a subdomain (ie: example.com). DNS standards do not support CNAME records for the domain apex. However many DNS providers provide ANAME or alias records to provide support for apex CNAMEs. See your DNS provider for more information on apex CNAME support.
